Add a life event on your Facebook profile
  1. Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
  2. Below What's on your mind? click Life Event.
    • If you manage a page in the new Pages experience, you can add a life event from the About section of your page: Click About, then click Life Events and Add a life event.
  3. Select a category or create your own.
  4. Click Photos/Videos to add photos to your life event. Add a title, date, location, or tag friends.
  5. Choose the audience for your post and then click Share.
    6. Keep in mind: If you tag a friend in your life event, they'll receive a notification.
Edit or delete a life event on your Facebook profile
  1. Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
  2. Click About and then click Life Events in the left menu.
  3. Click next to the life event that you want to edit or delete, then select:
    • See life event to edit the event, then update the event:
      1. Click , then select Edit Post.
      2. Edit your information, then click Save.
    • Delete to remove the event.
Note: If you're tagged in a life event, you may not have the option to edit it.
