Donate to or share a fundraiser during Facebook's Giving Moments

You can donate to nonprofits that are featured because of a natural disaster, social movement, or celebratory event. Find out more about Giving Moments.
You can see if we’re having a Giving Moment on the Facebook Fundraiser Hub.
Make a donation
  1. Login to Facebook.
  2. On the left, click fundraiser heart coin Fundraisers. You’ll see nonprofits featured in connection to the Giving Moment.
  3. Under the nonprofit you want to donate to, click Donate.
  4. Enter:
    • The amount you want to donate.
    • Your payment info.
    • Who can see your donation. Note: The nonprofit will be able to see your donation info.
  5. Click Donate.
A confirmation will appear after you donate. On the confirmation page, you can see your receipt, share the fundraiser, or invite your friends to donate to the cause.
Share a fundraiser during Giving Moments
  1. Login to Facebook.
  2. On the left, click fundraiser heart coin Fundraisers. You’ll see nonprofits featured in connection to the Giving Moment.
  3. Under the nonprofit you want to donate to, click Donate.
  4. Enter:
    • The amount you want to donate.
    • Your payment info.
    • Who can see your donation. Note: The nonprofit will be able to see your donation info.
  5. Click Donate.
  6. At the bottom of the confirmation screen, click Continue.
  7. Click Share.
