When you report a problem, we automatically collect information such as what device you're using, whether you're accessing Facebook from a desktop or mobile device, what version of Facebook you have installed, your User ID, and other signals that help us understand and resolve the error, flaw, failure or other issue you experienced.
What other information can I choose to provide Facebook when I report a problem?
When you report a problem to us, you’re also given the option to help us further fix your issue by sending complete logs and diagnostics. This includes information such as user activity logs, network logs, crash logs and memory dumps associated with the app from which you reported a problem. You also have the option of including additional content within your report that you think may help us better understand the issue, such as screenshots of the problem you’re experiencing.
How long does Facebook store the information from my report?
We will store the information contained in your report only for as long as required to resolve the issue you are reporting and others like it. We will not use the information contained in your report for other purposes. Your information will be processed outside of the European Economic Area, including in the United States.
