What data is shared when I turn on account recovery on Facebook?

When you turn on account recovery for another website or service with Facebook:
  • The service will know that you have a Facebook account but no personal information from your Facebook account will be shared with the service.
  • Your personal information or your activity related to that service is not shared with Facebook.
  • The service doesn't have permission to post to your timeline or contact you on Facebook.
  • Facebook will not share that you have an account at the service.
