Why is my Facebook Payments account disabled?
A Facebook Payments account can be disabled for any of the following reasons:
- Your identify has not been validated. As a regulated financial service, Payments in Messenger is required to validate your identity at certain times. To send or receive money in Messenger again, Facebook Payments will need your help to verify your identity.
- There is evidence of abuse in the form of fraud, sanctions, scams, or charge backs. To appeal a disabled Facebook Payments account, contact us.
To use Payments again, please follow the instructions in the email you received. You may need to provide documentation or update your profile information.
