How many people can I invite to a Facebook event?

Each person can send up to 500 invites per event.
We limit the number of invites each person can send to 500 per event because events with large invite lists may be reported as spam.
If you send a large number of invites that people are not responding to, we may limit the number of invites for a short period of time.
Other ways to let people know about your event:
- Private events: You can turn on Guests Can Invite Friends when creating your event. Keep in mind that you can't change this setting later. You can also add a co-host who can invite more guests.
- Public events: Let people know about your event by sharing it on your timeline or your Page's timeline.
Invites for Facebook group events
During event creation for a group event you can choose to invite all members of the group. This option is not available after you create the event. Learn more about creating an event for a Facebook group.
