How do returns work for purchases made with checkout on Facebook?

Items purchased with checkout on Facebook are subject to the seller’s return policy. To see the specific return policy for an item, check the Shipping & Returns section of the product page.
For orders with multiple items, you’ll need to request a return for each item separately.
How do I return an item I purchased from a shop on Facebook?
To return an item you purchased from a shop on Facebook:
  1. Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
  2. Click Settings & Privacy, then click Settings.
  3. Scroll down and click Orders and payments.
  4. Below Activity, click your order.
  5. Click Return Order and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once a return is requested, the seller should review the request and respond via email within 2 business days. If the seller agrees to accept your return, follow their return instructions.
Some sellers may automatically accept your return request. If your request is automatically accepted, the seller will send the return instructions to your email.
How do I return an item I purchased from an individual seller on Facebook?
To return an item purchased with checkout from an individual seller on Marketplace, you must contact the seller to see if they are willing to accept a return.
You can then send the seller a message with details of the issue and why you would like to return the item. If the seller doesn’t respond within 3 days, you can reach out to Facebook for support.
To contact the seller:
  1. Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
  2. Click Settings & Privacy, then click Settings.
  3. Scroll down and click Orders and payments.
  4. Below Activity, click your order.
  5. Click Contact seller for help and follow the on-screen instructions.
If the seller has accepted your request for a return, you’ll be sent a return shipping label to the email address you entered at checkout, or you may need to provide your own label depending on the seller. Once you have your return shipping label, you will need to print it, attach it to the package and drop the package off at the correct carrier within 3 business days.
Note: Returns and refunds for items purchased with local pickup on Marketplace are not available from Facebook.
